Rectangular Collectors are conventional chain and flight collectors for use in rectangular sedimentation basins. Walker Process furnishes a full line of designs using malleable iron or plastic chain. Depending upon the application, collectors can be provided with various types of scum removal systems.

Rectangular Collectors are typically a 4-shaft arrangement with sludge being moved in one direction and surface skimming in the opposite direction.  If skimming is not required, a 3-shaft arrangement is used.  The width and length is adjustable up to 30 feet wide and about 250 feet long.
