UniMix clarifiers are specially designed for flocculation and clarification in a single tank. Vertical shaft type flocculators located within the large diameter influent well provide low energy flocculation for agglomeration and removal of fine solids.  Variable speed mixers permit adjustment of mixing level to meet changing conditions and provide maximum flocculation and clarification efficiency. UniMix clarifiers can be fitted with energy dissipating ClariFlow inlets to prevent short circuiting and assist in promoting flocculation by causing increased floc particle collisions, and a more settleable slurry. UniMix clarifiers are available in either bridge-supported, or pier-supported type designs.
